3 Bedroom House in Saugatuck

Nicest location in town! Beautiful historic Italianate home built in 1868. The Pond Winslow homestead has been awarded the prestigious Heritage Preservation award for Honor and Respect by the Saugatuck Douglas Historical Society. Located on the hill over looking the town square. The home has been beautifully updated, including kitchen, newly remodeled bathrooms and restored old growth hardwood flooring through out. First floor includes, dine in kitchen with laundry, living room, dining room, half bath, bed room (queen bed) with en-suite full bath, and glassed/screened in porch. Second floor has master bedroom (queen bed) with private sun porch, 3rd bedroom handcrafted bunk-bed (full on bottom, single on top) and full bath. Kitchen is fully out fitted Keurig pod or drip coffee (get some fresh roasted beans from Uncommon Grounds, just two blocks) - just bring your favorite food and beverages. Bedrooms and baths are complete with linens. Beautiful flag stone patio with large built in fire pit, lots of grilling accessories. 'Up North' feel in town! In laws want to come too? Ask about the additional cottage with room for two!
Quiet, peaceful location surrounded by mature trees and tranquil gardens, yet just a few steps from the thriving downtown with all of its associated activities: Shops, Antique Stores, Art Galleries, Restaurants, Bars and Coffee shops. Utilize the chain ferry and walk or ride your bike to the beautiful Oval Beach. Easy drive to the many local golf courses, Fenn-Valley Vineyards, Crane's Apple Orchard, Dune Schooners and other area attractions.

Summary: Great stay in Saugie. Close to the park. Great location overall. The house was beautifully aged like a fine wine. We lived everything about the house including the fire pit.

Summary: Always a great time at the the Winslow house! Enough room to prepare a wonderful meal for the 5 of us and we also had good weather...enough to take advantage of the firepit in the yard. The warm spring breeze in three season room was perfect for playing games and we were just steps from shopping and restaurants. Ken is the best host. Easy to reach and responds quickly. Summary: We stayed at this adorable rental for a bachelorette weekend in Saugatuck, and it was absolutely perfect! The space was clean, decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were cozy, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the little touches throughout the home made it feel so welcoming.Saugatuck itself is the cutest town—full of charming shops, great restaurants, and a laid-back, friendly vibe. We loved strolling through downtown, checking out the boutiques, and enjoying the waterfront views. It was the perfect setting for a fun and relaxing girls’ getaway!Our host was was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Summary: We so enjoyed our stay at this historic home. It was within walking distance of downtown. Our host even had someone shovel the sidewalks, driveway and brush the snow off our cars before we checked out- classy touch. The kitchen was well equipped . Felt like home; very comfortable. We’ll be back.
